Lebanese Inspiration

A few weeks ago I decided to use lentils instead of my usual bean legumes and came across a recipe for a simple, tasty side dish: mujadarrah.

The ingredients are basic: (brown) rice, lentils, spices and carmelized onions. I poured mine over some shredded cheese in the bottom of a small bowl and had a great snack. A perfect side dish, complete protein, and flavour that’ll have you wanting more.
